I keep coming back to listen to these tracks... brilliant.What I like too is the fact that they are difficult to catagorise...dance/trance/electronic/psychedelic/barbituatic!The marketing folk are gonna hate you :}
Pleased you like the music Pisces. I'm looking through the CD's and vinyl I have out at the moment and there is a range from Lee Scratch Perry, Depeche Mode, Johnny Cash, Holst, Faust, Slayer to Miles Davis.I find all kinds of music influential and I choose music depending on mood rather than sticking to a style. I find this helps in my own creativity. I do have hearing problems and communication can be a problem sometimes, but the power of sound always hits my soul direct.
I agree, music bypasses all the bullshit and stimulates the interesting stuff that we keep in our heads.I just need to listen to (for instance) Nick Cave's As I Sat Sadly by Her Side and I'm writing; words tumbling from the keyboard in an almost automatic fashion; a feeling of being tapped into something; seeing it from the inside out.
